No nonsense, just the truth
This hotel offers a blend of convenience and discomfort. While the affordable rates and breakfast options were commendable, cleanliness left much to be desired, with several reviews mentioning dirty carpets and stained linens. Maintenance issues like faulty A/C and noise disturbances from neighboring rooms.

Convenient and absolutely perfect position, I really enjoyed staying in this place.
My stay was fine for one night. Stayed in deluxe queen room with 2 queen beds which was perfect for me. All the staff was hard-working and patient, solved my issues...

Friendly staff but cleanliness issues
The staff here were genuinely cute and accommodating, made checking in and out easy. The room cleanliness left much to be desired. We found the floors uneven and the furnishings showed signs of wear and tear. The noise level was a bit disruptive. Improvements in room maintenance and cleanliness would greatly enhance the experience.

Very central location of this low-budget hotel was a bonus. In the warm room we booked there was an exceptionally comfortable bed and a clean bathroom.

Friendly people, Elmer's Restaurant. Good free continental breakfast.
Toilet stopped up for three consecutive days after being unplugged by staff. I complained at checkout and got a 25% reduction in my bill. My wife fell in the asphalt parking lot which was not well lighted at night. There is a ripple in the asphalt that is not marked. She's only got a bruised shoulder, but the ripple is not safe in the dark for anyone and she won't be the last person to fall in that parking lot. It's a hazard and should be marked with paint. Smokers hang in the parking lot smoking when we leave. A panhandler was begging for money with a cardboard sign at the opening to the hotel one afternoon. Not a very attractive atmosphere. It's more like an inner city motel.

staff is friendly and beds are comfortable enough to spend a night when you are on the road. location is convenient with many places to eat.
hotel in general and rooms lack updating. It is quite neglected and cleaning is hardly acceptable. We had to change rooms several times due to different inconveniences. Anyway, staff was always concerned about solving everything and we managed to rest.

Our family, including my niece, loved the unique presentation of towels in our room, which showed effort in details. The cozy King Studio made it a comfortable base to explore the local stores and restaurants nearby.
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom could use more space for kids' bath essentials.

The hotel room was warm with a microwave and refrigerator. The food was outstanding and I loved eggs, bacon and cookies. The property was in the central setting close to everything.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very rude.

Breakfast options were generous, but the room carpet was stained and the bathroom could use some updates. Okay for the price.

Got best price of $59 on Booked.net and that's why review is ok. At normal price of $80 it would not have been too good.
Lack of anything special. Breakfast was not very nice compared to some other Shilos where they have cooked bf.

Simple, inexpensive, let us have 4 adults in 2 queen beds, inexpensive sodas, free breakfast, nice staff
A bit dated ... but so great for the price
